Pennyroyal Acamdey by M.A. Larson

Pennyroyal Academy is a book about a girl who could not remember who she was (or anything else) arrives in a kingdom to sign up for an academy where girls train to be princesses and boys train to be knights. But unfortunately, she arrives in the middle of a war between princesses and witches, and during a speech in the academy, a friendly witch reveals that an ancient prophecy is coming to pass. And so the girl, renamed Evie, was launched into a world of new adventure and excitement.
