Divergent by Veronica Roth

Divergent is a very interesting book, with lots of violence and cliffhangers at the end of chapters, and at the end of the book. This book has some interesting things about being separate. You get divided into factions, groups. Abnegation is the faction of selflessness. Amity is the faction of kindness and peace. Candor is the faction of truth. Dauntless is the faction for bravery. And Erudite is the faction of knowledge and smarts. This book is about a girl named Beatrice, she takes her test to determine which faction she belongs to, but she gets Divergent. Divergent is that you fit into multiple categories. Beatrice fits into every one except Candor and Amity. At the choosing ceremony she chooses Dauntless. She says to herself: "I am selfish. I am brave." She doesn't know what being Dauntless has in store for her...
