The Giver is a book about a boy named Jonas and his two friends Asher and Fiona. Jonas has to do community work until he i a twelve. When the ceremony comes he doesn't get calles the chief elder skips him or so everyone thought. Jonas is selected to be the next receiver of memory. Once he starts this job there is no going back. This book is really intense for some people. He is not allowed to tell anyone about his training and once he gets some information from the giver he knows that they are going to kill Gabriel the new child that they are taking care of. So that night he takes gabriel and they past the boundary of memory and at they same time they are getting ready for the release of Fiona. Will he make it past they boundary in time to save is friend??
