In this final book, Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Piper, Leo, Frank, and Hazel take on the evil goddess Gaea, mother earth who is invincible as long as she is touching the ground, so Leo used Festus, his bronze dragon to lift her off the ground and burns her to death.
