Mockingbird was very interesting to read! I suppose it was mostly because the perspective you get in Mockingbird, is from a girl with Asperger syndrome. The story is, Caitlin (the protagonist) is coping with the loss of her brother Devon, who was killed in a school shooting. But Caitlin not only has to cope with that, she also has Asperger syndrome! There are ups and downs, (alot of downs) and a ton of times you feel things are unfair. This book has a lot of emotion, and has you feeling like Caitlin at times! This is funny because Caitlin has trouble feeling! My favorite part of Mockinbird, is the fact that Caitlin has Asperger syndrome. She takes everything literally, and it is really interesting to see the world with such an odd perspective. This book will take you on an awesome rollercoaster of emotions, 5 stars!
