The giver is a good book it is about a kid named Jonas that has to main friend that he goes to school with. Jonas has to do community work till the ceremony of twelve. Jonas gets a job that once he starts there is no going back. This book can be a hard book for some people. Jonas lives in a perfect community with no pain and no memories from before.
