This book is about a girl, Calli, with Tourette’s syndrome which means that sometimes she makes weird faces and noises when she’s nervous or at random times even though she tries not to. She often goes to new schools because of her mother’s constant moving. When she starts her first day of a new school in Utah, this time it’s different because one of the kids at her new school, Jinsong, is her neighbor and she already met him. Their friendship grows outside of school, but inside of school Jinsong’s 2 best friends and a mean girl , Beatriz, laugh and make fun of every single thing Calli does.
