This book is amazing. And the funny thing is, originally I recommended this book for my nine-year old sister, but then I found myself reading it. But I personally have something that I wanted to see happen to each character at the end of the book. I wanted Annabelle, to be kinder to her sister. I wanted Leslie to be a bit more firm on the people around her. I wanted Chad to be more involved with his family. I wanted the dad to actually put his foot down with the mom. I wanted Grandma Nora to be a little bit more helpful and less rude. And most of all I wanted the mom to stop collecting things. Milk cartons? Newspapers? Quilts? Baby dolls? What's wrong with you woman? Can't you see that you are ripping your family apart? I don't know. All I do know is that she has got to change, and quick.
