I Survived: The Shark Attacks of 1916 by Lauren Tarshis

Read a nonfiction book or historical fiction book.

Imagine seeing the headline of a trending news, saying, 𝘈 𝘀𝘢𝘡𝘦 𝘭π˜ͺ𝘡𝘡𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘺 𝘫𝘢𝘴𝘡 𝘡𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘡𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭π˜₯ 𝘒𝘯π˜₯ π˜ͺ𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘭𝘒𝘢𝘨𝘩𝘡𝘦𝘳π˜ͺ𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 π˜ͺ𝘯 π˜ͺ𝘡𝘴 𝘱𝘒𝘡𝘩. Wouldn’t that seem really absurd. Well that was what people in the United States thought about sharks killing humans. It really just seemed illogical to them that a shark would attack a human being just like the news above seems illogical to us. People thought it was a joke until 4 people were brutally slaughtered by sharks at Matawan Creek, New Jersey between July 1 - 12.
