If this book were set 100 years in the past it might be really horrible for the people living at the time and place since Hurricane Katrina is one of the deadliest hurricanes ever. If this hurricane happened in the 1900s, when the world wasn’t as advanced as today, they might have a hard time rebuilding their homes. They also might not have as much information/data about hurricanes than we have today to predict when and where the hurricane will happen. They might not know what a hurricane even is.
