Read a book that takes place in a country other than the United States.
This book is based on a true story, and it is about this boy named Ali Fadhil, its 1991, in Iraq. During that time the Iraqi War was going on, Ali had many limits on what he could enjoy. Before the war Ali was consumed by his love for soccer, video games, and American television shows, then on January 17 he had many mixed feelings about the Americans, (since they led the thirty -four nations.) I found it very interesting and read it quickly. I would definitely recommend this book.
