Train I Ride is about a girl named Rydr. She's leaving Palm Springs, Califonia where her grandma can't take care of her anymore, and taking the train to Chicago to live with a granduncle she's never met. As the train travels east, she learns more about her fellow passengers' lives, and whether she likes it or not, her own story begins to emerge. Who is Rydr, and who does she want to be?
