If you could be or had to become one character in the book, who would you choose to be and why?
I just read Invisible Emmie by Terri Libenson. The book is mostly written from Emmie, the silent artistic girl's point of view, but sometimes the story switches to the very different story of Emmie's classmate, Katie. Katie is popular, pretty, straight A, and did I mention popular? Her parents are candy makers and take her on shopping sprees. Katie has a big allowance, and if she gets all As on her report card, her parents increase her allowance by 200%. Everyone loves her at school, and she pretty much has a perfect life as far as I can tell. I guess if I was gonna become one of the characters in this book I would probably pick her because she is (like I said already) kinda set up in a perfect life, whereas Emmie barely even talks at all.
