Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?
I would recommend this book to someone who does not mind disturbing books. And has patience. The whole book takes place over one dinner. It starts off in Amsterdam where the protagonist and his wife meet his brother and his brothers wife. They both have two sons that are involved in a twisted crime of murder. You slowly gain more and more knowledge of the event and find yourself in a creepy tale of how to handle punishment for your child, and how far love go's and what gets passed down from father to son. It is a slow book in the beginning but you have to pay attention because soon secrets are spilled and the book is moving at high speed, and to understand the characters and their reason for action you have to read between the lines.
