The Giver by Lois Lowry

Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?


I would recommend this book. I read it for ELA in 6th grade, so if you are going into 6th grade at VLUS, don't read it this summer, because it will be more fun if you don't know what happens. It is an AMAZING dystopian book, that is honestly kind of creepy, but still read it if you don't like horror books (I don't). If you won't read it in school, or even if you read it a long time ago, READ IT AGAIN because this is a book worth reading.
