What would you like to tell us about the book?
This book, Slam, was not what I expected. It was about a boy named Sam, at sixteen years old having a pregnant girlfriend, and soon to be kid. He is a skater, so he has to give that up, he wants to go to college, he has to do part time, he wants to be a teenager, he has to give that up, he wants to have a "normal" life, he has to abandon that. This book is about he and his girlfriends struggle throughlife and I founded it very interesting, I feel I can not tell you much though because it will spoil the book. It is written like, Sam is 18, but he is telling this crazy story about being 16 like he was telling it when he was 16. If that makes sense. Anyway, I would recommend this book, only if you are OK with the book talking about sex. Not explicitly though, more like "I will NEVERTHELESS have sex again." Something like that.
