If you like books written in verse that are not too serious, this book is for you. This book is about a girl named Reena and her younger brother, Luke, who move from New York City to Maine. In Maine they meet an old woman named Mrs. Falala who is rude and bossy at first. She needs help taking care of the animals. At first she creeps them out with her cat, snake, and pig and when she asks them to get her crazy stubborn cow ready for the fair her request seems unreasonable. But, slowly Luke and Reena begin to feel at home in Maine. This is a great book and you should read it!!!
