Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith

Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?

The book Windfall by Jennifer E. Smith is about a girl named Alice, a boy named Leo, and a boy named Teddy. Alice's parents have died and now she leaves with her Aunt, uncle and cousin Leo. For Teddy's birthday Alice decides to buy him a lottery ticket and on the card she writes her true feelings for him. The day after the party they find out that Teddy had won 140 million dollars, read the book to find out everything that changes in the friends lives.
Between trying to make Alice's parents happy, working at a soup kitchen, something that they would have been proud of, choosing a college- Stanford or another one closer to where they live, and love.

This book is action packed and you never know what will happen next!! I recommend this book for readers in the sixth grade and above. For readers who like to read about life changing events and love. Although the book is very thick it was a pretty quick read for me. The book Windfall is definitely a book that I recommend.
