All American Boys is a book that discusses the topic of racism and police brutality.
When Rashad, a black kid, is beat up by a police officer he is sent to the hospital with broken ribs and a broken nose, plus a lot of blood.
Quinn, a white kid that goes to the same school as Rashad, watches part of this happen.
While Rashad deals with his nonacceptance, Quinn has to find his guts and take sides.
Note: All of this started when Rashad tried to buy a bag of chips. Just saying.
This book is well written, and good for those who are more mature.
DO NOT give this to your younger siblings. There are a lot of swears in it.
