I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to bake and cook sweets. It has everything from elaborate celebration desserts to jams and marmalades. Everything in the book is fairly fancy, and some things are difficult to make, but everything is explained well, and there are "make your own" pages, where you can take different pieces of the desserts in the chapter and combine them into your own. Plus, the photos are beautiful.
