The Authoritative Calvin and Hobbes is a collection of Calvin and Hobbes. It includes Cartoons from Yukon Ho! and Weirdos From Another Planet!
In this collection, many things happen. Calvin secedes from his family and sets off for the Yukon, only to miss his home and leave Hobbes in the woods. Calvin goes away from the world since it's too polluted, and he goes to Mars where he finds a martian. On each of these adventures, he forgets to pack a map and food. Calvin invents the transmogrifier gun, and then fights Hobbes with it.
As usual, Calvin fights with Susie, Hobbes, and his mother. And Spaceman Spiff is back - and still not paying attention in class.
It's a good book for those who enjoy humor.
