The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Hadden
If you could ask the author/illustrator of this book one question, what would it be?
The main character in this book Christopher, is very different (in a good way) from the stereotypical main character, in that he always tells the truth, is very smart, but also has problems expressing his emotions and communicating with other people. Where you trying to create a unique and realistic character when you wrote this book?
This book and Twilight are parts of an amazing program that are going on currently on PBS called The Great American Read. Basically the top one hundred most loved books in America have been selected by surveys and compiled into a list. I suggest reading at least one book from the list (there are many good books but I would have to suggest Harry Potter), and if you can't find a good book just search up the Great American Read or go to the PBS website and click on The Great American Read,
