This book is about a boy named Donovan who is a bad kid. After Donovan makes a globe destroy a part of his school gym, the secetary comes looking for him. Then Donovan gets a letter from the State that Donovan is a gifted child, when Donovan knows he's not. When Donovan can't show any giftness, he has to take a retest if he was mistake, or if he fails the test, he has to go to his old school which is too easy for him.
