How Round Is Your Circle? by John Bryant and Chris Sangwin

It's not much of a story. It's a book on all these theorems and how to prove them and certain equations and how it all relates to machinery. It's basically a science and engineering textbook that's actually worth reading. It's all about how mathematics relate to engineering and science. It's really interesting. Especially if you love math.
