Love That Dog is a book told from the point of view of a kid named Jack. It is all In poems explaining what Jack thinks about different poems and how different poems look and sound, some by his classmates and some by famous writers. He is inspired by a famous artists poem and writes one just like it. He is able to get the writer to meet him and his class at his school.
