It's basically this mystery book about a library for magical items. The items there are disappearing and being replaced with fakes. And there's this girl who has to figure out who or what is stealing the magic. And then her friend gets kidnapped by the thief and they save her and everyone is happy. And then the typical love story. She likes this boy who doesn't like her back and then she starts to like this other boy who hates her and then likes her and she ends up with him and her friend ends up with the other one. And they live happily ever after.
