What would you like to tell us about the book?
This book switches between before and after. The thing separating the two is the death of Aubrey (the best friend of the main character, Dara). Though this isn't the normal book where the girl mourns the tragic, sudden death of her best friend. The only thing missing from that is the fact that Dara is the one who killed Aubrey. Accidentally, of course. Dara has left her home town for a year to live with her aunt and uncle in a different town for junior year following Aubrey's death. For her senior year, Dara has decided to come back home. Her last year at high-school follows her being reminded of what she's done, an unapproved romance and her finally returning to the road where her life changed forever.
