Would you recommend this book? If so, who would you recommend it to, and why? If not, why not?
This is a great book. Each kindness by Jacqueline Woodson and illustrated by E. B. Lewis is about a girl who comes to school one day. When that girl smiles at someone or asks them if they would like to join her in a game, they dismiss her without a thought. In the end the girl doesn't come back to school and the other students are left to think that maybe if they had acknowledged her then she might not have left. I think anyone would like this book and it made me think about how important it is to be kind and thoughtful.
