What would you like to tell us about the book?
Have you read Whatever After #1, Fairest of them all by Sarah Mlynowski? No? Well, I think that you should. The book is about a girl named Abby and her brother Jonah, who discover a magic mirror in their basement. At first all it does is glow and make (really) creepy noises, but then, Abby and Jonah, (along with some law books and a swivel chair) get sucked into Snow White’s fairy-tale and accidentally mess up her story, it is up to Abby and Jonah to fix the story and find their way back home. There are many different reasons why I think that you should read this book, but one was that it is very funny. Another reason I liked this book is that it is told in first person, so you can read all the things happening inside the main character’s head. An example of this would be if the character in your book could not talk, you could still tell what they are thinking and/or what they want to say. Yet another reason why I liked reading this book is because Mlynowski does a fantastic job taking bits of fairy-tales and modernizing them to fit the likings of so many children all around the world. That is why I think that you should read Whatever After #1, Fairest of Them All by Sarah Mlynowski.
