Ms. Bixby's last day by: John David Anderson

This is a great book about the connection between three students and their individual connection with their well-liked teacher, which in our generation is uncommon or unspoken of. Also how finding out she's diagnosed with a type of cancer can really motivate you to do the impossible. They have an adventure bringing her specific needs for a perfect last day. My favorite character is Brand (along with Ms. Bixby of course). His ongoing personality can surprise and intrigue you. Another reason I happen to favor him is because of his relationship with his teacher he in fact was the one to suggest the quest. Lastly, he cooperated and planned the necessary tasks beforehand. Furthermore Ms. Bixby's last day is a book definitely worth reading!
