This is an AWESOME book! It's about a boy named Obe who discovers a new animal by his family's creek. He names the creature Marvin Gardens. Marvin only eats plastic, and Obe realizes that this could be the solution to our pollution problem. But in the meantime, Obe has other things to worry about: His dad wants him to be who he's not, his best friend ditched him, and he's falling way behind in math. Besides, who knows what will happen if he tells someone about Marvin? Will he be shipped off to some lab somewhere to have infinite tests done on him? Can Obe be brave enough to save him?
