Four Truths and a Lie is GREAT book. It caught my attention really fast. It’s about a 8th grader named Scarlett, that has been good my though a hard time. Scarlett, has moved to a new school. A boarding school. And she dose not want to tell anyone about why she moved here. But right then, her roommate, Crissa wants to find out why. But that doesn’t matter cause her mom already knows about it. Now, Scarlett has a penpal. This penpal is from the boys boarding school. Just then, Scarlett finds out that he is Crissa’s ex! Crissa already knows this, so now she is planing revenge! Crissa’s revenge is very horrid. She tells Scarlett’s penpal, (aka, known as James Crissa’s ex) to challenge her to play four truths and a lie. And Scarlett agrees to do it, or else James will tell everyone in her school about it!
