A Tale Dark and Grimm by Adam Gidwitz

If you could be or had to become one character in the book, who would you choose to be and why?

A tale Dark and Grimm is the story of the Hansel and Gretel written by Adam Gidwitz. But, like it's name suggests, it has some dark parts in it. The main character are obviously Hansel and Gretel, but I wouldn't want to be any of them because Gretel (SPOILER) has to cut off her finger, and Hansel gets skinned alive.


I would actually want to be one of Gretel's "parents" (the old lady in the town of the warlock) because she is kind and protective, and she is a good type of person that anyone would want to be. Also, most other character have some giant tragedy in their lives and compared to that, the old lady's is pretty small.
