If you could be or had to become one character in the book, who would you choose to be and why?
If I could be any character I would be Annemarie. Almost a teen Annemarie experienced fear, at an early age when in 1943 in Copenhagen her friend's life is in danger. She learns how to be brave when the Nazi soldiers put her family and her friend in danger. She learns to find out about things on her own, which can be very frightening. But most importantly she learns how to keep on living her life
