The book is about a girl and her best friend who do everything together. Their names are Astrid and Nicole. One day, Astrid's mom takes them to a roller derby event and Astrid loves it. Nicole goes to a dance camp instead. Astrid has a rough time at derby boot camp without Nicole because she's not very good and doesn't have any friends. She finally finds a friend, Zoey, and stops being Nincole's friend.
Its a graphic novel so there are a lot of pictures that help tell the story.
