I have lots of questions for the author of this book. Here are some of them: How did she come up with the book? I wonder if she made the government based off a real government in the world. Did she base third children being illegal off of illegal immigrants? Was there a past event in the world that made her come up with the book's situation? I would ask her why she decided to write the book in Nina's perspective. I wonder if she thinks the book's situation might happen in real life. Does she think that the government's law in the book is right? What does the author think the most important event in the book was? Anyway, I think Margaret Haddix is a great author, and I have many questions to ask her.
