Four is kind of like an add-on to the Divergent Trilogy, which I live, love, ship, feel, cry, dream, roleplay, fanfiction, movie trailr, premiere, fanart, fangirl, picture, edit.... Yeah OK it's kind of like my passion. Four is narrated by one of the most important characters in the Divergent Trilogy, Four. (He even trades narrating with the main character every once in a while during the third book) Four was actually going to be the main character of Divergent. The author revealed that in the author's note of "Four".The author wanted to write more about HIM. Four has a very interesting story. His family, his past, his fears. It's all twisted up in a long braid of pain. The readers know about it, because he talks about it to the main character, but we never get in really big details or anything. Four has 4 short stories. The Transfer, The Initiate, The Son and The Traitor, plus a few important parts of the trilogy in FOUR's point of view. The part in the back gives you a dive into his thoughts. It also makes you want to read it. ONE CHOICE breaks free of his past ONE CHOICE embraces his future ONE CHOICE exposes the dangers ONE CHOICE changes him--- forever ONE CHOICE WILL FREE HIM. What exactly, is the choice he makes? What will it free him from? Find out! Read the book "Four by Veronica Roth" and you will not regret it! (I recommend you read the Divergent Trilogy first. It will be more exciting if you have read those books, and you will probably understand it all more.) PS- The book can also be called "Free Four" depending on what version it is. | |
