The One and Only Ivan is a great book. It isn't in the usual format for books, but that makes it interesting to read. It is a touching story about a captive gorilla living in circus themed mall, whose life is changed when he meets a baby elephant named Ruby. Some parts of the book are very emotional, both tragic and joyful. I recommend this book to all readers
