I would recommend "The Amber Spyglass" to readers who enjoy excitement and emotion, and to readers who enjoyed the first two books in this trilogy, "The Golden Compass" and "The Subtle Knife". The story is long and can be hard to follow, so don't try reading this book if you're not in a mood to focus your full attention on this book.
