Upside-down magic is a book that I would characterize as "short and sweet". Its about a girl named Nory. She, like everyone else in the book can do magic. There are five magical categories that she can be; Fluxer, Flare, Flicker, Fuzzy, or Flyer. She is a Fluxer, which means that she can turn into other animals. This is true for all Fluxers, but with Nory, its different. Nory is what some people would call "Wonky", or "Upside-down". Nory gets put into a special class for other kids like her, who have unusual talents. The class takes Nory far from her home to live with a relative, and Nory wants more than anything not to be how she is, and needs to learn to control her powers if she wants to return home. Join her in her short tale about friendship and caring, and look into the next book. I still haven't read Upside-Down Magic #2: Stcks and stones, but trust me, I'm desperate to read it, and as soon as you read t his book, you will be too.
