Describe a part of the book that made you feel something strongly (i.e. something that made you cry, laugh, get really angry, etc.).
I started reading this book a few weeks ago and right away I started crying. In the book there is a dog named Gwenfort and she’s a dog belonging to Jeannens family. Jeannen is a girl (still a baby now) who has visions about the future. One day her parents left her and Gwenfort alone in the house. A snake later on managed to find its way into the house and up onto Jeannens crib. (her still init, asleep) Gwenfort jumped up from her nap to notice the snake. She then used her instinct to attack the snake and save Jeannen, getting blood everywhere. The parents come home and see only the blood, so not seeing the dead snake or Jeannen, and thought the dog had killed their child. They came to the decision of putting down Gwenfort. Jeannen woke up with out the dogs warmth and started crying. “ The confused parents ran to their daughters crib, just to realize they’ve made a big mistake.” on finding out the dog saved their child's li fe, Gwenfort was remembered as a saint.
