Silent to the Bone is a thoughtful book about a serious event. Did Branwell hurt his baby sister? Branwell is being silent. Is what happened to his sister connected to his silence? Branwell has been silent ever since the accident with his sister Nikki. His best friend Connor, and Connors sister are trying to help prove that Branwell didn't hurt his sister, but while they are investigating they find something fishy with Branwells babysitter who was there when the accident occurred. They also figured out the reason for Branwells silence. It is really great story full of suspense and mystery.
This is my summer reading book. Who else from CPS upper schools got this for their summer reading book?
I recommend this book for any fifth to seventh who is interested in suspense and mystery. This book really made me feel like I was there watching what was going on in the book. I hope anyone who reads this book likes it as much as I did.
