The Books of Elsewhere: The Shadows- Jacqueline West

If this book were a food/color/song/smell, what would it be and why?
If this book was a color it would be: Black (Which it is, but for a whole another reason) Why, you ask? Because this whole book is about how this 11 year old girl moves in to a old, stone house with just her two parents. For some reason, she can climb in to the paintings that where already in the house, because of some spectacles. Then she finds out about how one painting that seemed nice was actually evil (Annabelle. And, no not the scary doll), and the first person to live in this house (Mr. McMartin) was buried in the basement, with his next two generations (Which were like four people), oh, and he also killed his son and his daughter-in-law. Now Mr.McMartin has come to life through a painting, beacuase of Annabelle. Then... Read the book.
