If someone liked this book, what other books should they read?El Deafo is a grafic novel about Cece, a kindergardener who gets deaf and gets hearing aids. She spends her life carrying a heavy metal box that keeps all cords in place. This graphic novel is a real story the author is writting about her childhood. This book is about how Cece gets through things, since she is completely deaf, school friends, family, and some schol drama.
If you liked this book, you should definetly read Out of my Mind. Out of my Mind is a book about disabled Melody, and basicly how she gets through things in school, and it has a very similar plot to El Deafo, but it is not a graphic novel.
