The book is the second in it's series of "The Books of Elsewhere." In this book Olive (The girl from the previous book) searches for, and finds Mr.McMartin's spell book/Grimiore. She gets help from a young boy named Rutherford, whose grandmother is a actual spy/witch. Once Olive finds the book, she behaves like never before, she even turned the cats against her ( By the way, the cats are hundreds of years old, and they used to work for Mr. McMartin, against their own will). But, here being so attached to the book put everyone she loves in danger. And a old soul might have awakened.
