The Giver- Lois Lowry

Read a book that’s been made into a movie and also watch the movie. Which did you like better?
In the book, the ceremony took nine chapters to get to, Jonas is 12 when he becomes the receiver of memory, His friend (Fiona) worked as a take-carer of the old, And they had bikes as transportation. For adults and children. In the movie, it took about two minutes to get to the ceremony, Jonas is now 18 not 12 when he becomes the receiver of memory, Fiona is now a nurturer (someone who takes care of babies), Jonas kisses Fiona in the movie, and he punches Asher, which NEVER happened in the book! And now what he uses to get away is a motorcycle, not a bike.
