Out of my mind is a story about a disabled 5th grader girl entering a special school, with new people and new teachers. Melody cannot walk, talk, or even feed herself, or even holding a spoon. Out of my mind is a story about how disabled Melody turns out that she actually has a brain, and she is the smartest in the class. But with all that bullying, teasing and making fun of Melody makes things go harder for her.
Out of my Mind is an awesome book, which I recommend it if you had read Because of Mr Terupt. The victim and the villan have very similar character qualities. Those two stories take place in school, and I also recomend you guys to read Because of Mr Terupt as well.
Well going back to Out of my Mind, you should definetly read this book because the author's message is very sweet. The begining is a little sad, but the story stil stays excellent. I recomend this book for at least from 4th grade to read this amazing book.
