Harriet The Spy By Louise Fitzhugh

Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh is a book that will leave you wanting it to never have ended. It is about a girl who lives in upper-class New York. She keeps careful notes about her classmates that show what she really thinks about them. As you probably know from listening to your own thoughts, they are not always the kindest or most considerate things. This is especially true for Harriet, except she writes all of it down. This may not seem like such a bad thing, but her notebook got stolen by her classmates, who now know all of her deepest, darkest thoughts about them. Now all the kids in her class hates her. Read this book to find out what happens, and also to just have a good summer read. It is not a short book, but all of the length is well spent.
