This book is about a girl named Caddie Woodlawn who is growing up on the frontier. Caddie is very adventurous, sort of like how I think Laura Ingles Wilder would have acted. This is why I think that if you liked Caddie Woodlawn, you would love Little house in the big woods, Little house eon the prairie, and other Laura Ingalls Wilder books!
