Katsa lives in a world where some people are given special talents called a Grace. The "graced" people are easily recognized for having each eye a different color. Graces can range from "useful" things such as being very skilled in archery, or having incredibly sharp senses, or they can be "useless" graces such as being able to juggle as many items as wanted without dropping any. Katsa's Grace is killing and since she is the king's niece, she is forced to do his dirty work such as punishing someone who displeased the king. Her whole life has been like this until she meets Po, a price from a different kingdom who makes her question her lifestyle. She begins to try to use her grace for good, not for evil. This is a thrilling tale that has the perfect amount of fantasy, adventure, and romance. I gobbled it up in a day! -Sofia
